Makoto Misumi (深澄 真)
Makoto Misumi is one of the three World Travelers who got sent to the Goddess’s World. He is supposed to be the only person sent to another world because of the contract made between his parents and the Goddess but because She sees him as a hideous-looking person and throws him to a wasteland (Also known as the “The edge of Her world”) and refuses to give him any powers, but he gets some powers from the Moon God from his previous world, while also stealing two other people from his world to serve as heroes.
Makoto is a short (160 cm) and a young teenage man with black mid-length hair and eyes. His facial features are average in appearance but to those of the Goddess’s world, he is considered ugly and/or being mistaken as a demi-human of some kind.
Like many other students his age, Makoto is quite naive. In sports and his studies, he is barely on average. Thus he is in no way considered special. This causes him to feel empathy towards individuals who are looked upon less favorably in the Goddess’ world as is the case of demi-humans, mamonos, and demons. So he has no qualms about helping them selflessly, even if that generates bad opinions of him among the Human society.
A servant of Makoto who used to be feared as the “Black Spider of Calamity.” She is extremely loyal to Makoto and would easily do anything for him. She likes cooking food for him and watching his sleeping face during the morning or evening.
In her human form, Mio has black hair with a red headband knot in bloom and wears a luxurious black and red kimono in the style yukata, further the handle has white frills. However, her kimono still has some defensive power, it can withstand up to a certain point enough to surprise the elder’s dwarves when it got cut up.
Tomoe “Shin” (無敵 “蜃“)
Tomoe, previously known as Muteki “Shin” (無敵 “蜃“, Invincible “Shin”), is one of the Superior Dragon’s, existing in the World of the Goddess. She is presently in servitude of Makoto Misumi. In her Human form, Tomoe has long waist-length blue hair which has a mist-like look to them, red reptilian eyes, and a slender figure.
She tends to have an easy-going personality, likes taking on new challenges and learning interesting things related to the Edo period of Japan. Different from her previously lazy and disˈinterested outlook of the world. She’s not serious at times to a dangerous degree. She finds great enjoyment in seeing what changes would come from Makoto and especially learning things from his memories.

Goddess is an unnamed deity who is the manager of the other world (Goddess World), which is the main setting for Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy. From what has been shown, the Goddess appears as an adult human woman with a voluptuous figure. She is vain egotistical and arrogant by dismissive way of proceeding others and especially the physical features.
Even though she had the power of creation she seems to care about trivial things like beauty and is dismissive of anything she sees as ugly. Reviews of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy:
1. Review of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy:
Isekai parody can be huge, some of us already know why,
Plot: reverse isekai + isekai since some of the MC family is actually from the isekai world you will know when you watch the first episode what I meant. It is more light-hearted and fun and adopts from major isekai hits for example the MC is put on a pedestal by his people like slime, the MC is overpowered and has similar overpowered subordinates as in overlord.
He is given the short end of the stick when it comes to abilities like in shield hero, And the girls seem like they would be a HIT in KONOsuba.the end goal is also very much better than most isekai it’s not defeating evil or demon lord or some shit, it is just to trace the movements of his family (some of who are from this world )
Characters: the only redeeming factor since the story thus far hasn’t taken shape, they are beautiful, quirky, funny, and full of flaws xD. The main girls clearly resemble the Konosuba girls and you can tell.
VA: Not much to comment on a lot of popular VA sare in this one especially the orc girl and they haven’t had a chance to show off yet
Animation and art: It can go to the standard Isekai power fantasy level but not as high as Mushoku Tensei. but definitely no CGI-like overlord xD. The fantasy world is nice and has all the standard D&D races beautifully drawn to look as they would be expected to look.
I LOVE THE OP It’s totally my type.
2. Review of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy:
Normally I wouldn’t be too fond of these types of shows. But there is just something about this, that has its own charm. Hell, the description of the Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy, honestly gave me a fair few laughs. While it still follows certain Isekai tropes, it’s still pretty fun in its own right. If you’re looking for that kind of show, then this might be for you!
The story is basically the main interest of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy, which really drives it. After all, this isn’t some quest to fight the demon lord at the end, Imagine being moved here, only to be kicked away cause of your looks.
Only to pick up some fucking weirdos along the way, as you push on forward through your journey, but with mountains of issues piling up, stopping you in your tracks and make you go about it differently. That’s basically a sum of the story, going off on your own adventure, after being cased away.
It reminds me of a mix of a more light-toned Shield Hero, Slime Isekai, and Konosuba. Not all of it, but at least bits and pieces from each of those. As if the plot points, and how the characters interact, really show that in a better light than what describing words could do within a review. Speaking of which, they pretty much carry the show.
As if they basically just said to all of them to go have fun with it. The MC is far from bland, Tomoe is just out there and fun. While Mio seems like a crazy bitch, but can be calmer at times when she wants to. All three are great characters, of which I can’t wait to see more of.
The art style is great too. Being good when it needs to be in certain situations, such as when it’s more light, or when it’s darker. Even the battles in the Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy look decently good animation-wise. Some really good stuff for sure. Much like the sounds are, can’t really put a foot wrong here, wonderful stuff.
If you’re looking for a wild and fun show this season, this is surely one of them. Start watching Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy now!
3. Review of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy:
Countless isekais have been pumped out of the anime industry over the years, and this is no exception.
This anime includes:
Overpowered main character: ✓
Heroines that are also slightly overpowered: ✓
Moe and dere: ✓
Saving lolis: ✓
Making monsters into cute anime girls: ✓
Gods and deities: ✓
This anime does not include:
Truck Kun: 𐄂
A ridiculous amount of fanservice: 𐄂
Now to the real review (May include very minor spoilers)
This anime as said follows the isekai formula very closely, however, it has its own twist and turns. Overall the plot is very simple and some messages are unclear.Art: 5/10
The art and animation aren’t bad nor is it good. It’s just you’re generic art style.Character: 7/10
There isn’t much depth yet to the characters nor would I expect depth to them, however, this doesn’t make it bad. The characters are funny and relatable. And most importantly the characters are unique to other Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy. They have characteristics that no other major characters have brought a wide variety of jokes and action.Enjoyment: 9/10
I really enjoyed Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy and I am genuinely surprised.
4. Review of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy:
Jul 28, 2021
The best thing which I like here is that the author did not try to make the MC to OP that he is invincible (You will understand after watching a few episodes).I have read only the manga and not the light novel. The story so far s going according to the manga and in a very detailed manner.
The animation, sound, voice actors are of high quality. Though C2C studio has not made much anime it is doing a great job with this one.For now, I am rating it 7 after watching 4 episodes but it will change accordingly after watching the complete season. (The detailed scores are below).
It has a slow-paced story but has a smooth flow and the development that takes place in the storyline is very interesting.
As the story is very slow-paced so seeing as they are only making 12 episodes concerns me, that they might change the story and end it in a single season.
I hope that they will continue to follow the storyline and continue with this series.
Voice Actors 8
